| Meet Kurt Buchanan... Hello... and Welcome to Emerald Dunes Real Estate & Development! My name is Kurt Buchanan, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve you. First, if I may, I'd like to tell you a little about myself. I am retired from the United States Air Force, my last tour being here at Eglin Air Force Base, which is adjacent to the great cities of Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Destin, Crestview, and Valparaiso. I have lived in this area now for nearly eight years, and I own a home just three minutes from the east gate of Eglin in the esteemed subdivision, Indian Shores, of Valparaiso. I have two beautiful daughters of which one is employed with the Eglin AFB Credit Union, and the other is an excellent student and exceptional singer in the famed chorus at Niceville High School. Also, being just as important a part of my family, there are my three dogs?Zoe, Hanna, and Coco. Their favorite hobbies are sleeping, eating, and chasing squirrels. For myself?I like to travel, water ski, jet ski, fish, play golf, fly stunt kites, and of course?play with my dogs. Most of all, I like to spend my extra time at those famous white beaches in Destin, Florida. T.S. Eliot said it best I think?at the beach, "Time You Enjoyed Wasting, Is Not Time Wasted." I grew up in Greenwood, South Carolina and earned my BA from St Leo University and my MBA from Touro University International. I am a licensed Realtor in the state of Florida, a small business owner, a member of the American Legion, and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville.
